$25 Annual Gift

FRIEND LEVEL

The Friend Membership level is an introductory way to support the Foundation and the monuments. With your annual gift of $25 you’ll receive:

  • The ability to save documents to your membership account (3 Passenger searches & 15 Passenger Records; 3 Ship searches, 15 Ship Records & 15 Ship Manifests)
  • 10% discounts at select concessionaires on Liberty and Ellis Islands

$50 Annual Gift

LIBERTY LEVEL

The Liberty Membership is the most popular giving level. For an annual gift of just $50, Liberty Members receive:

  • The ability to save multiple documents to your membership account (5 Passenger searches & 25 Passenger Records; 5 Ship searches, 25 Ship Records & 25 Ship Manifests)
  • The ability to annotate Passenger Records within the Ellis Island Database
  • One free Family History upload to your membership profile
  • One free photo upload to the American Flag of Faces, which is available to search via the Foundation’s website

ANNIE MOORE SOCIETY

As an Annie Moore Society Member, you will receive:

  • One complimentary single line inscription on The American Immigrant Wall of Honor at Ellis Island
  • One virtual 45-minute Immigration Records Search session (please contact the Foundation at least two weeks in advance to schedule your appointment)
  • Follow up video chat or phone call with the Foundation’s Family History Center to review the findings of your complimentary Immigration Records Search
  • 10% discount in the online shop for reproductions of any manifests or documents identified during your Family Research Session
  • The ability to save additional documents to your membership account (total of 20 Passenger searches & 75 Passenger Records; 20 Ship searches, 75 Ship Records & 75 Ship Manifests)

BECOME AN ANNIE MOORE SOCIETY MEMBER

$1,000 Annual Gift

EMMA LAZARUS SOCIETY

The Emma Lazarus Society is an exclusive group of Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation leadership supporters. You can be a part of the Emma Lazarus Society with an annual gift of $1,000 or more.

At the $1,000 level you will receive:

  • One personalized certificate of recognition honoring you as a member of the Emma Lazarus Society, delivered in an embossed document holder
  • VIP invitations to special events on Liberty and Ellis Islands
  • Concierge service when planning visits to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty (please contact the Foundation at least two weeks in advance of your visit)
  • One-hour family research session (available in-person at Ellis Island or by phone/video chat) with a researcher from the Foundation’s American Family Immigration History Center (please contact the Foundation at least two weeks in advance of your visit to schedule your research session time)
  • One complimentary Leadership Inscription (‘Ellis Island Friend’ level) on The American Immigrant Wall of Honor the first year that you join at this level
  • Special recognition in our American Family Immigration History Center on Ellis Island
  • Ability to save many more documents to your membership account (20 Passenger searches & 75 Passenger Records; 20 Ship searches, 75 Ship Records & 75 Ship Manifests)
  • Ability to annotate Passenger Records within the Ellis Island Database

At the $2,500 level, you will receive all benefits included at the $1,000 level plus a commemorative Emma Lazarus Society lapel pin when you join at this level.

At the $5,000 level, you will receive all benefits included at the $2,500 level plus a complimentary ‘Benefactor‘ level inscription on The American Immigrant Wall of Honor at Ellis Island when you join at this level.

Membership Guidelines
  • The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation’s annual membership cycle is January 1 through December 31.
  • Early renewals (after September 15) are invited to participate in the annual “Member Card Design” poll to choose the next year’s featured image.
  • 10% discounts do not apply to The American Immigrant Wall of Honor, Flag of Faces, custom frames, or donations.
  • Membership does not include receipt of commemorative medallions. These are either available in our Shop or as a thank you gift when donating to specific campaigns.

About The Foundation

In 1982, President Ronald Reagan asked Lee Iacocca, then Chairman of the Chrysler Corporation, to head a private sector effort to raise funds for and manage the restoration and preservation of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island for their respective centennials. The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation was founded. Through its generous contributors, the Foundation has raised hundreds of millions of dollars - all from private donations.
