Numidian

Built by D. and W. Henderson and Co Ltd, Glasgow, Scotland, 1891. 4836 gross tons; 400 (bp) feet long; 45 feet wide. Steam triple expansion engine, single screw.  Service speed 13.5 knots.  1180 passengers ( 100 first class, 80 second class, 1000 third class ).

Built for Allan State Line, British flag, in 1891 and named Numidian. Liverpool-Montreal and Liverpool-New York service. Filled with cement and deliberately sunk as a blockship in 1914.
