West Grama

Built by Los Angeles Shipbuilding & Drydock Co, San Pedro, California, 1918. 5445 gross tons; 410 (bp) feet long; 54 feet wide. Steam triple expansion engine, single screw.  Service speed 10.5 knots.  

Built for U.S. Shipping Board, in 1918 and named West Grama. Genoa-Gibraltar to New York cargo 1919-1920 service. Various charters. To US Navy as SP-3794 in 1919. Sunk as part of the breakwater off Omaha Beach, France in 1944.
