Built by Skinner & Eddy Corp, Seattle, Washington, 1919. 5561 gross tons; 409 (bp) feet long; 54 feet wide. Steam turbine engine, single screw.  Service speed 11 knots.  

Built for U.S. Shipping Board, in 1919 and named West Maximus. Montevideo, Southampton, Helsingfors to New York 1921-23 cargo service. Various charters, including East Baltic Line. Torpedoed and sunk by German submarine on voyage to Boston in 1943.
