Built by Skinner & Eddy Corp, Seattle, Washington, 1918. 5647 gross tons; 410 (bp) feet long; 54 feet wide. Steam triple expansion engine, single screw.  Service speed 10.5 knots.  

Built for U.S. Shipping Board, in 1918 and named West Cohas. France and Southampton to New York 1919-1920 cargo service. Chartered. Transferred to British Ministry of Transport, British flag, in 1940 and renamed Empire Simba. Managed by A. Weir / Hadley Shipping Co. Scuttled with cargo of gas ammunition in 1945.
